Quarter Beef Deposit, Nov. 27, 2024 Processing

Reserve your beef by the quarter. For example, if you'd like half a steer, reserve two quarters. If you'd like a whole steer, reserve 4 quarters, and so on. We require a $100 deposit per quarter. Deposits will be deducted from the total cost of the beef, which is $4/lb hanging weight to be paid to A Very Good Farm. Deposits will be forfited upon cancelation unless you are able to find a replacement buyer for said reserved beef.

  • What to expect

    Reserve your beef by the quarter. For example, if you'd like half a steer, reserve two quarters. If you'd like a whole steer, reserve 4 quarters, and so on. We require a $100 deposit per quarter. Deposits will be deducted from the total cost of the beef, which is $4/lb hanging weight to be paid to A Very Good Farm via check or cash that can be left with the butcher. We will notify you of the remaining cost of the beef after it is taken in for processing. 

    After you reserve your beef, your phone number will be given to our butcher, Burt's Meats, located at 114 Center Ave S, Eyota, MN, who will contact you to take your order of how you'd like your beef cut.  There is a seperate processing fee to be paid directly to Burt's Meats via check or cash.  You will be contacted when your beef is ready for pick-up.  

    Deposits will be forfited upon cancelation unless you are able to find a replacement buyer for said reserved beef.
